I see that the upper residential floors of Trump Tower do not have fire sprinklers. What kind of half-assed 19th century skyscraper design has been grandfathered or bribed into from the beginning of this boondoggle of a cheapskate, tax cheating POS that is going to go up in flames one day when the fire department does not throw enough of its real heroes into saving Der Fuhrer's reputation as a "reputable" builder.
RIP to the current victim of faulty tower design and greed purpose from the junk bond days of the 1980s that built that eyesore. My sympathies to the six NYFD men injured by smoke in this current mini-Trump-fiasco.
I can remember how easy it was to bribe city officials around 1985 when I was shown around an unfinished American Express tower and looking at an illegal staircase in the unfinished executive suites that had no, by law, mandated landing every 18 steps or so in a curved, bowed staircase in a two story within lobby of those suites. "No breaks in the steps there?" "Took a minor bribe or two for the building inspector to look the other way..." Etc.
Building trades everywhere the realm of crooks, thieves, liars, perverts and future POTUSes of the USA?
