Dave’s in the Hospital (in Britain)

Dave's In Hospital

Who the hell is Dave ?

Well Dave is the geezer who got home late one night and Marilyn his wife, says "Where the hell have you been?"

Dave replies "I was getting a tattoo!"

"A tattoo??" She frowned. "What kind of tattoo did you get?"

"I got a hundred pound note on my privates" he said proudly.

"What the hell were you thinking"? She said, shaking her head in disgust. "Why on earth would a Chartered Accountant get a hundred pound note tattooed on his privates?"

"Well, one, I like to watch my money grow.

Two, once in a while I like to play with my money.

Three, I like how money feels in my hand.

And, lastly, instead of you going out shopping, you can stay right here at home and blow a hundred pounds anytime you want."

Dave is now in The Manchester Royal Infirmary, Critical Care Unit, Room 233.

No visitors until further notice.

“Gimme Gimme Gimme”- From Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky – a Taker State – Gets More $ Back From Washington than New Jersey – a Giver State

"They're precisely the same people who are unwilling to cut the spending and their 'gimme, gimme, gimme' -- give me all my (Superstorm) Sandy money now," Paul, R-Ky., said Sunday in Nashville. "Those are the people who are bankrupting the government and not letting enough money be left over for national defense."

Taker State Kentucky Sen Rand Paul Attacks Giver State New Jersey Gov Chris Christie Over Hurricane Sandy Money – Kentucky has a $.90 Tax Dollar Advantage Over New Jersey with Kentucky claiming some sort of delusional Moral Superiority and whines and whines about Fed Money wasted on Jersey. Geez.

Kentucky gets far more tax money from the U.S. Government than New Jersey. Kentucky which gets $1.51 back from the federal Government, more than New Jersey that gets $.61 from the Feds for every tax dollar sent to Washington.

Moocher State Rand Paul is complaining, verbally shitting over Sandy victims in Jersey.

What a Creep!

Azodi-carbonamide – Bread and Plastic Additive – GRAS Generally Regarded as Safe (Stupid) - Enjoy!

I have always been a little bit suspicious about the Martin's Potato Bread, my son's favorite, that stays fresh moist and mold free in the bread drawer for weeks at a time.

Location. Location. Location. - Shelf life. Shelf life. Shelf life. - Twinkies Live!

Azodi-carbonamide generally recognized as safe (GRAS) additive to Bread – Used to make foam plastics etc. and extend shelf life of bread etc.

Illegal in UK, EU, Australia and Singapore and thought to cause asthma by recent studies. Enjoy!

Ken Cuccinelli – Another Santorum Trying to Impose Catholic Sharia Law In Virginia? Virginia Should Change its Age of Consent Laws to Conform to Regional Standards

AG Ken Cuccinelli and Rick Santorum
Two Sides of the same Sharia Coin

The church ladies in Virginia have the age of consent at 18 years of age. Virginia is surrounded by North Carolina, West Virginia and Maryland where the age of consent is 16.

The ancient definitions of sodomy is technically anything but straight missionary sex and inside a marriage.

Oral sex, Straight or Gay is Technically “Sodomy” by RC Church Sharia Law.

Cuccinelli is screaming about a 47 year old man propositioning a 17 year old girl for oral sex and states that if a struck down by a federal court Sodomy law is not reinstated that a bunch of children offenders (age 17? Children) will go free from prison and lose the stigma of being sex offenders etc.

Maybe Virginia should just lower the age of consent to 16 similar to other nearby Southern States and Ken Cuccinelli should get the F*** out of our pants and out of our bedrooms.

Boy these Republicans seem to want to watch too much porn – in our bedrooms! Free and at our expense?

Ken Cuccinelli and Rick Santorum, two sides of the same wooden nickel Coin.

Get a life Ken and get the Santorum out of our lives.

Elliott House, Livingston, (Elliottville), North Shore, Staten Island, NY

The Elliott House, 69 Delafield Place, was built by Dr. Samuel Mackensie Elliott, 1811-1875, a prominent eye surgeon, in 1840 in the Livingston section of Staten Island. It is in the early Gothic Revival sytle of architecture.

His eye clients included General Winfield Scott, naturalist John J. Audabon, the actress Charlotte Cushman, and poets N.P. Willis and H.W.Longfellow.

Born in Scotland and commissioned a Brigadier General by Abraham Lincoln for his efforts in raising troops during the Civil War.

His Obituary is the second listed in this article.

We spoke to a lady having a yard sale and who lived next to this building some years back. She gave us a skinny on the house.

What appears to be the second story is actually the attic and or servant’s quarters.

The first floor was the original second story of the structure.

The basement was the first story.

Around 1895, the county started to grade the land to a certain level in order to build modern streets with sewers and water pipes etc.

Also of note, there were no windows on the sides of then first and second stories.

The doctor had a phobia about air traveling from east to west or some such non-scientific reasons.

Of course a story about a tunnel in the original basement and going out to the river was included and was supposedly used in the underground railroad to free slaves before the Civil War. Tunnels on these old properties when they faced a river were usually the way you got rid of your trash during high tide.

Sounds like a bigger than life nineteenth century character who built a lot of Gothic spec houses now gone in his one time point on the map Elliottville around this house.
